'Do you support the recommendation to 1) Create a graduate student travel grant fund and 2) Do you support increasing graduate student fees by $1 per credit hour to create this grant fund?
The grants will be awarded by a committee of graduate students on a competitive basis. The Office of Graduate Studies would administer the travel grants and the graduate student governing body would be responsible for oversight of the travel grant fund.
The committee will create policies and selection processes that shall not discriminate travel awards when discrimination is defined as distributing travel grants on the basis of sex, age, disability, race, color, religion, marital status, veteran’s status, national or ethnic origin, gender identity or expression, place of residence, sexual orientation, enrollment status, program of study, and/or degree program.'
