Career Expo Sign-Up
We are hosting a regional Career Expo at the Butler County Event Center. It will take place on Friday, May 6th, from 1-6PM. We need a number of business & industry volunteers in order to make this work. We would like this to be an educational and engaging program for all attendees. If you are willing and able, please fill in the information below based on availability. There is no cost to have a booth or attend this event, we just ask if you fill out this form, you do show up and stay for the entirety of the program. Specific questions about this program can be directed to Dr. Dawn Lindsley, Nebraska 4-H Career & College Readiness Statewide Educator (dawn.lindsley@unl.edu).

This program is part of the Nebraska 4-H Tech Changemakers program, who will be present helping and presenting the day of the program. Our target audience is working age youth through adults. We have 3 primary goals for the day:

1 -  Increase awareness of available full and part-time openings, summer and/or seasonal help, internship and/or apprenticeship opportunities, etc., along with time for networking/interviewing.

2 - Share about career fields and the importance of employability skills such as effective communication, digital literacy, professionalism, social media, and much more!

3 - Elevate the need for rural broadband access to help in closing the digital divide to provide #Opportunity4All.
