The Al and Dorothy Schewe Leadership Award is given annually to recognize achievement in leadership within the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering. Applicants are competitive, and are be evaluated based on leadership, involvement, and educational projects and achievement. Undergraduate students at the senior level and on any of the College of Engineering campuses (City campus, East campus, or Scott campus) are eligible to apply. Two applicants will be selected to receive one of two $1,000 awards. You will be notified of your status whether you are selected or not.

Eligibility Requirements:
- The applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate, full-time student in the College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (City campus, East campus, and Scott campus students are all eligible).
- The applicant must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average minimum and have at least one semester remaining in the Fall.
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Leadership
- Involvement
- Educational projects and achievement
