The login screen will have a similar look and feel to the current CAS and Shibboleth pages.
The MyMail login offers the same safe guards as the primary UNL login to give users greater assurance they are using a genuine UNL login site.
- The address bar will highlight the unl.edu web domain.
- Look for the Extended Validation Cert symbol. There is a padlock icon in the address bar of the browser. The clickable green bar assures this site and content is governed by The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska.
- When the username is entered, the login site will display the photo avatar of the user, which they may provide through planetred.unl.edu. After viewing the display, the user can be assured they are indeed using a trusted site and may enter their password to access the site.
