Event Description

The Nebraska Tech Collaborative has recently publicized a report that examines technology occupations and industries in the state of Nebraska. The purpose of the report is to gain a greater understanding of relevant occupations and industries from 2017 to 2021 and to estimate the economic footprint of the technology industry in 2021. The report also highlights some of the key technology businesses in the state that have experienced recent growth.

Dr. Herian and Dr. Eric Thompson, department chair and Karl H. Nelson Professor of Economics, and the director of the Bureau, co-authored this report. The report relies upon data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS).

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts during the Q&A session. Please register to receive the webinar link and your online passcode. There is no cost for this webinar and the registration is open to the public. The last day for registration is October 26, 2023.
