The eighth-annual Mid-Semester Check at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for first-year and entering transfer students will be from Sept. 19th through Sept. 22nd. The program will be offered in two sessions, 6:00-7:30 p.m. and 7:00-8:30p.m., each night in the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St.

The event provides students a guided opportunity for a timely review of academic responsibilities and college and major requirements once they are on campus. The program encourages students to become more engaged and find resources with the guidance of experienced faculty and staff members.
Research has shown students who attend Med Semester Check tend to do better in classes and return to graduate than those who do not attend.
