Ag technology meeting and conference is Jan. 31

The Nebraska Agricultural Technology Association (NeATA) will be hosting their annual meeting and ag industry conference Jan. 31 at the Kearney Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Kearney, Nebraska.

The event is an opportunity for those involved in Nebraska agriculture to learn and hear about the latest technological developments in precision agriculture. Topics will include Precision Economics, Nutrient and Water Management, Data Collection and Precision Equipment. Featured guest speakers include Brian Arnall, precision nutrient management extension specialist, Oklahoma State University; Jim Smith, executive director, Blueprint Nebraska and Cathy Anderson, chief specialist, Nebraska State FSA Office. Attendees will also be able to choose from 10 break-out offerings covering the topics of the day.

The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 31. The pre-registration fee is $175 and $195 the day of the conference. Students may register for $25.

Founded in 2000, NeATA is a unique collaboration between farmers, ag industry, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The NeATA organization has sponsored an annual meeting and conference since 2001, to discuss the latest in agricultural technologies and their applications.
