Description:
The College of Engineering Dean's Leaders will serve as an integral part of the Recruitment Team in working with prospective students, families and other distinguished guests in multiple different facets. Dean's Leaders will assist with prospective student campus visits, admission's events, postcard writing, calling campaigns and other events.

Required Qualifications:
  • Be enrolled as a University of Nebraska-Lincoln undergraduate engineering student
  • Be in good academic standing, with a preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Show involvement within the College of Engineering and university
  • Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership potential
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in recruiting students through campus and outreach events
  • Meet with prospective students, families and other guests to share personal insight on student experiences within the College of Engineering
  • Lead tours of the engineering buildings
  • Represent the College of Engineering on campus and in community events
  • Participate in postcard writing and calling campaigns to prospective students
  • Attend beginning of the year training and monthly meetings 
  • Maintain regular contact with the College of Engineering Recruitment team
Compensation:
Dean's Leaders will receive $12.00 per hour and work an average of 2-8 hours per week. Dean's Leaders have weekly office hours that are set at the beginning of each semester. We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate classes and involvement.
