University Honors Program 2023 graduates include 26 Nebraska Engineering students

Twenty-six College of Engineering students are among the 264 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students who will be recognized at the May 20 undergraduate commencement for having completed the requirements of the University Honors Program.

To graduate from the Honors Program, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average, complete a culminating senior project or research thesis, and fulfill other curricular requirements.

Sarah Altman, from La Vista, Nebraska, was chosen as the College of Engineering's 2023 Outstanding Honors Graduate. The Honors Program collaborates with each of UNL's nine colleges to recognize one graduating senior from each college based on their contributions to, and involvement with, both the Honors Program and their respective colleges.
