My name is Ted Hibbeler, and I am Lakota from the Sicangu Lakota Oyate’ (Rosebud Sioux Tribe) in South Dakota. I am the Tribal Extension Educator for Nebraska Extension, and my office has created the Native American Coalition (NAC) which builds relationships between Nebraska Extension and the Tribal communities in Nebraska. & WATER SUMMIT

April 14-15, 2021

The Native American Coalition is hosting its first inaugural Tribal summit! Join us April 14-15 for two days of presentations on:
  • Traditional Tribal worldviews and relationships with water and the earth
  • Tribal youth programs that are involved in food and water sustainability projects
  • Creating relationships between Tribal water and earth protectors and the University faculty
In addition to the above, UNL faculty will provide information on water and earth conservation programs and activities at the University.
