Little Free Pantries (LFP) are weather and animal-proof structures that store food and other items for those in need. Nebraska Extension in Douglas-Sarpy Counties is seeking youth groups and organizations that are interested in building and maintaining a LFP to improve food security in these counties.
Complete the interest form below to build a LFP! Selected youth groups will receive materials and training from Nebraska Extension to build a LFP at an agreed upon site. Grant funding will support construction and initial stocking of the LFP. Youth groups will be responsible for maintaining and stocking the LFP for three years after installation.
