Commission on the Status of Women seeks student applicants

The Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women is seeking student applicants. Applications from undergraduate and graduate students are due by March 16.

Members will meet with the full council once a month and with a sub-committee every other week. At these meetings members discuss issues affecting women on campus and each year they meet with the chancellor to advise him on these topics.

The application is available online and should be emailed to Jan Deeds at jdeeds1@unl.edu or dropped off at the Women’s Center, Room 340 in the Nebraska Union.

Applicants unable to get recommendation letters in by the March 16 deadline should contact Deeds at jdeeds1@unl.edu or Moriah Locklear at locklear.moriah@gmail.com.
