Each incoming class of first-year and/or transfer students has the opportunity to earn university campus-wide scholarships to Nebraska upon admission. Awarded scholars are notified of scholarship offers, including guidelines for eligibility and renewal. Award messages in MyRed have brief descriptions of each scholarship offer. Below are the full eligiblity details for renewable scholarships. Non-renewable scholarships are listed at the bottom of this page.
As policies are updated annually, scholarship guidelines for each incoming class are posted for students to review. Scholarship guidelines are subject to change with each incoming class. Below are the guidelines for each scholarship by year, organized by incoming class. To review the renewal criteria for a scholarship you were offered, find your scholarship offer below, then look for the semester you began at Nebraska. You must follow the guidelines listed in order to renew your scholarship. Information about appealing scholarship non-renewal is available at financialaid.unl.edu/scholarship-appeals.
