Cultivate ACCESS: Climate Resilience

Since 2017, the Cultivate ACCESS program has worked to increase participation of underrepresented groups from Nebraska in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) related agricultural careers. The Cultivate ACCESS program includes multiple pathways for students and educators to get involved.

The objectives of the Cultivate Resilience project are to:

  1. Facilitate co-creation of culturally responsive, climate resilience-focused educational resources with participating educators in collaboration with content and community experts
  2. Provide experiential learning opportunities to develop students’ leadership skills with a focus on inclusivity and equipping students for the future of work.
