Coursework, exams, jobs, student orgs, relationships. It’s hard to balance it all and there is no shame in feeling like you’re falling behind on academics. Luckily, there are lots of people on campus ready to help.

Center for Academic Success & Transition

The mission of the CAST is to engage, empower and support all students in and out of the classroom. The office provides a range of resources to help you be successful.

  • One-on-One Coaching: CAST coaches build supportive relationships with students to identify areas for enhancement, learn study and life skills, and create action plans.
  • Academic Success Workshops: Workshops cover a variety of topics—from time management to effective study techniques—that will assist you in finding success in and out of the classroom.
  • Study Stop: Whether you’re navigating challenging coursework or seeking a productive workspace, Study Stop offers academic support for all Nebraska students. You can set up personalized tutoring sessions or attend drop-in group study sessions to discover effective study strategies.

Study Studio with OASIS

If you’re looking for advice about your writing, coaching on your math skills, or assistance in one of your courses, OASIS’ team of learning consultants are here to support you in your pursuit of academic excellence. They offer a variety of supports throughout the week: peer tutoring, math resource center, drop-in office hours and an English language support lab.
