ITI Data Vision in Technology Scholarship

Warning

Submissions for this form are closed.

Through the generous support of ITI Data's CEO and founder, UNL alum Brian Vaske, the School of Computing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be able to offer the "ITI Data Vision in Technology Scholarship" to two students based on their academic accomplishments and on the quality of a written statement that captures their vision for creating impact in the world through computing. Special consideration will be given to statements that seek to increase diversity and inclusion in computing and in its application.

The department will select two recipients of a $12,500 one year scholarship that aims to allow them to sharply focus on their studies and the pursuit of their vision during the scholarship year.

Eligible students must be computer science majors with at least a 3.25 GPA who are entering either their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2018. Selection of scholarship winners will be based on the vision that they communicate through their 2-page statement.

If you submitted your essay through the "Scholarship Form for School of Computing Department Scholarships" that was sent by Jenna Huttenmaier, you do not need to submit again.

All applications received by 5 p.m. on March 1, 2019 will be reviewed by a committee of faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. The winners will be notified via email by April 1, 2019.
